    Axminster Bench Craft

    Axminster have got some exciting events lined up for us Woodworkers. The demonstrations are given by Peter Hibbin and run from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Here's a run down of what's in store.

    All the events below are at their Sittingbourne shop in Kent.

    January - Saturday 26th
    Bench Craft - All you need to know about hand tools! Expert tips and advice covering hand sharpening, use of chisels, planes and more.

    February - Saturday 16th
    SBW3501B Bandsaw Demo - One of Axminsters most popular bandsaws. Suitable for the small trade or home workshop.

    March - Saturday 8th
    AW106PT2 Planer/Thicknesser Demo - A robustly made, trade rated cast iron machine whichoffers a very clean finish.

    March - Saturday 22nd
    AW30S Tilting Spindle Moulder Demo - Axminsters versatile moulder features three speeds and a host of customisation accessories.

    April - Saturday 12th
    M950 Woodturning Lathe Demo - This flexible woodturning lathe offers good capacities and a supplied with accessories.

    May - Saturday 3rd
    AW10BSB2 Table Saw Bench Demo - Saw bench that features excellent cutting capacities - a good choice for the light trade user.

    Conveniently situated in close proximity to the M20 and M2 motorways, this store has 10,000sq.ft of floor space and over 10,000 products on display, including an extensive range of machinery, power tools and accessories.

    How to find it From the M20, exit at Junction 7 and follow the A249 heading to Sheerness, Bobbing is signposted and Axminster Tool Centre is in close proximity to the crematorium. From the M2, exit at Junction 5 and again, follow the A249 heading to Sheerness.
