I'm pleased to announce the return of our Turning Competition at the upcoming Get Woodworking Live show next March.
 
Turning Competition entry forms will be printed soon in GW and TWW or collected at the Get Woodworking Live Show. Entry will cost £2.00 per item which will be donated to charity.
 
Categories
There will be two entry categories for the competition: Enthusiast and Prestige.
Enthusiast being someone who has never won or been placed in a turning competition before.
Prestige being someone who has entered and received a place for a peace of work in the past.
 
Prizes
2 x First prize will include a Woodturning / Painting or Photography course which will include 5 half days of expert tuition. The prize includes 6 days at the Moulin de la Materette, including bed and breakfast and an evening meal for the prize winner and a partner.

2 x 2nd prize of £250 in vouchers for Record Power Tools. Plus more prizes to be confirmed soon.

The competition will be judged by our demonstrators. Suitable small items can be entered by post (return postage will need to be paid for and covered by the appropriate amount of insurance while in transit)

Judging will take place on Sunday morning (March 14th 2010). All entrees must be received by 3 PM on Saturday 13th March.
