Hi Dave -- I don't think you can, if there is a way I am sure the moderators will let us know. Julian

Hi,

Juian is correct, pictures can't be added directly to a thread.

To add any picture to the website it must first be uploaded to the website server. Your access to the server is through your image gallery.

Hope this helps.

Steven

Dear Dave,

This problem faces everyone when they want to upload a photo to this forum. you can't upload a photo from the gallery. Because there have no option to add a photo from your own gallery. So take image Url from the website and add Url.

Actually you can post photos in from places like Photobucket using the URL and placing it in your post using the dialog box from the Image icon in the toolbar. You need to post the URL in both the Info and Link tabs of the dialog box and then reset the Size of the image to about 350pixels wide or it can blow-out the whole post. It takes a while to explain it in step by step detail but it actually is about as quick as posting a picture from an album you create here.

The advantage of using the albums here on site is that the images will remain in the post. If the photobucket hosting is changed or deleted, the picture disappears from here.
