Hi all

This is the project that has kept me busy since Christmas

I've named him cobbler as this is the last I will be makingall my grandchildren all got one

No great grand children yet so this may be kept not sure yet

Just finished today my wife the boss gave it top marks and she is fussy

Just small projects from now on there are more photos in my album l dontvknow why only one 

Turned up and not the rest   this getting old lark is no good

Absolutely fantastic what a great horse an heirloom to be kept and past down the family. I bet they think Grandad is the best

Thankyou for your kind comments i Have always enjoyed making them but finding it hard work now

So I'm stopping while I'm winning

I've already been asked if I would like to sell it but have declined for now

you deserve it. Wood carving is a real skill, and to use it to produce something like this is, well, something I envy!

Also, I have a friend who owns a boutique. One day I went to visit her, and I was surprised to see a wooden rocking horse in her place of business. I became very curious, so I asked her why she had this rocking horse at work, and she replied that her child loved the one at home so much that she wanted to buy an extra one for her shop. She said that she occasionally brings her child to work, and that the toy will keep him busy while she takes care of the customers. Also, she told me her customers' children like to play on the horse. Despite these other reasons, she said the main reason she bought the horse is it's a nice conversation piece that looks good in her shop.
