|Thread: Storing disc and spindle blanks|
Thanks for your reply.
So it would be best if I stored my waxed items in my unheated garage with spacers between them, but for how long can I do this without any detriment ?
I am a beginner at wood turning having just purchased a midi lathe.
I need advise on storing several discs and spindle blanks that I purchased and received today. They have been wax sealed accordingly by the web site dealer but I need to know, should I store them in the workshop garage in the cardboard boxes the came in or empty them out and stack them on shelves on the garage wall and on the concrete floor ?
I shall not be using them until I am sufficiently able to turn them properly.
I would be grateful for any advise.

|Thread: GWW Index|
Can I ask why there is no Index for articles in Good Woodworking when there is one for The Woodworker.
This query was spoken of in 2010 - 2012 but nothing seems to have happened !
Why is that ?
It would save a lot of inconvenience for readers.
Please may we have one or explain why not.
