I'm secretary of the Southern Fellowship of Woodworkers. I put a thread on the forum recently to find out what other clubs are about.
One reply came from the Sussex Woodcraft Association which meets in Burgess Hill.

Would it be possible to promote woodwork clubs on the website.
The website for SFW is www.sfwoodworkers.co.uk and we meet at the Mytchett Centre Camberley, Surrey.

Hi I do publicity for the Cheshire Guild of Woodturners, we meet at Plumley Village Hall just outside Knutsford on the third Thursday of each month.
Visitors and new members always welcome. We have Sue Harker coming to demonstrate on Thursday 19th June starting at 7.30 p.m.
Our website is www.cgw.org.uk
Cheers Dave
Are there any in Oxfordshire, preferebly west Oxon, or even Glos.
Derek.
Ben,
I think that Roger is suggesting a seperate section for a list of, and links to, woodworking clubs. Sounds like a good idea to me.
Mike
That would be a great idea, especially if those inolved updated with details of events.
I travel around the country most weeks and am always on the lookout for a local club I can visit whilst I am away.
