Although I haven't got the Trend one I do own a similar one sold by Axminster and it does work well enough but takes a long time to set up. Once set it gives good results each time. Ideally you could do with a router set up with the cutter already in so it isn't disturbed to save time. I now use one of the Rutland ones which is just a template that you mount onto a MDF former and use two cutters to produce through dovetails, much quicker and more accurate in my opinion.
