the website isn't finished, and is just a bit strange in places. If you go to picture  15 and then go "next" (ie arrow pointing right).....it keeps going! In fact, if you only got to 15 you've certainly missed the best bits!

Good job you oven is electric!

just had a look at mike coopers web sight.all i can say is if you think 15,16,17, are good to look at then go to 40, onwards they bare just so impressive bicycles .

Staggering, aren't they? I've spent hours looking at these photos. I saw "Split personality" in a gallery in Perth, West Australia, many years ago........and have been a huge fan of Mike Cooper since that day. I would love to see Gunshy or Gunrunner in the flesh.

I have sent so many emails to the people around Mike Cooper, trying to get his permission to use the image directly on our site.............I'll get there in the end!

Keep on trying, it will be worth it!  Don't let the undoubted increase in woodworker suicides and car boot sales of used kit associated with your sucesss, put you off....

I've just had a browse through Mike Coopers site. What sort of a mind can imagine the pieces? and then be able to have the skill to translate them into the actual forms displayed, I know they are based on every day objects, Do you think  he draws them ?  or sketches them? there is so much detail in each piece, then there is the woods he uses to get the effects, Brilliant, I think I'll hide my efforts.

Incredible, isn't it? I wrote the headline knowing that some people would be very cynical.......but it really is the best woodwork I have ever seen.

Don't be put off though George! It is meant to inspire us to greater feats, not make us feel so inadequate that we give up!!
