I'm tempted to just use beeswax with no sealer. Has anyone got experience of finishing Rosewood? And if so, what would you recommend?

    Cheers,

I've not used it Ben, and I will be watching the answers with interest.........but French Polishing is the traditional finish for Rosewood, isn't it?

I have a piece of rosewood haning on the wall infront of me, with some weather dials in it, I sealed and waxed it.

Thanks guys. I've used shellac sealer and wax which works a treat.
