One thing I'm having trouble with is the length of each piece, I have the angles right but it seems I'm short on length ............yes I know.........I blame the tablets!

How do you choose the length of the pieces?

    hi Marc

what are you doing open segments or full segment rings and what size ring are you after

    Dennis

    Hi Dennis

Was trying a full ring to practice getting the angles right..........size wise was/is 7 inches wide.

    hi Marc

if you cut the segments 50mm that should be just over 7" only glue the ring in 2 halves then if there is any gaps when you attempt to glue the 2 halves together you can sand the 2 halve segments to rid the gap and have a perfect ring on glue up.also make your segments about 1" wide that will give you a lot to play with.

PS, I'm using those Parquet tiles......again.......which are just the right width.......
