    I couldnt agree more , there are lots of turners and only a few "TURNERS" if you get my point.

    I have seen many profesionals demonstrate and i have been a demonstrater myself in the past, and what i have learnt is that it is not what you do or even how you do it, it is knowing why you do it a certain way!

    About a month ago you said you cracked the lens taking a picture. Might I sugest you use a Pin Hole Camera - no lens to crack. In fact you could do it as a project for the readers to build. It is surprising the quality that can be acheived

    Funny you mention the pin hole camera Roger, it's a project I've looked into and it's on my list of things to do. Thanks for the reminder.

    I was trained as a Photographer by the RAF in the very early 60's. However one of the boys at school made a pin hole camera and managed to get Agfa to give him some cut film to test it with.

    If you are going to try it my reccomendation would be Mono 5x4 format. easy processing and not expensive. Focus on a ground glass screen takes out the uncertainty.
